NEW RESCUE VEHICLES ON
MERCEDES BENZ UNIMOG U4000
Two new rescue vehicles with box-type superstructure body on basis of the Unimog U4000 were put in service in September 2009. Both vehicles were manufactured solely for export and are in operation for emergency services in the People's Republic of China.
In the following picture both vehicles are shown with the wonderful background of the famous Chinese Wall.

MIESEN box type superstructures and interior facilities on Mercedes Benz UNIMOG 4000 basis are the ideal solution for the rescue mission in difficult-to-access areas. We realized these conversions for two different concepts.
MIESEN multi-stretchers ambulance on Mercedes-Benz Unimog 4000
By deploying an expedient patient interior spatial design as well as employing a technically high-quality stretcher mechanism with 4 stretchers the possibility for the simultaneous transport of up to four lying persons arises.
Particularly by creation of a low invitation height, the easy raising of the upper stretchers with the invitation process and a interception of strong vertical impacts during transport sets new milestones to the specially developed 4-stretchers-construction.
Despite the stretcher storage on both sides a sufficiently dimensioned center aisle remains for patient’s support.

The cabinet combination at the partition offers sufficient place for medical material. Two roller-type shutter cabinets within the left range, arranged one above the other as well as numerous drawers offer quite an amount of storage facilities. Three folding seats give the opportunity to medical staff to be taken along safely.

MIESEN rescue ambulances on Mercedes-Benz Unimog 4000
The rescue ambulance on Unimog basis contains both a MIESEN hydraulic suspended floating table as well as a stretcher storage for the transport of two further injured people. Particularly by creation of a low invitation height, the easy raising of the upper stretchers with the invitation process and a interception of strong vertical impacts during transport sets new milestones to the specially developed combination of the two-stretchers-construction together with the MIESEN hydraulic suspended floating table.

The advantages of the MIESEN hydraulic suspended floating table come in effect to a maximum extend especially with rough terrain vehicles. The carefully configured suspension system coordinated with special conditions of patient transport absorbs both strong horizontal and vertical impacts which are unavoidable with transportation maneuvers in difficult-to-access areas. Brake pitch supporting mechanism and arbitrary adjustment possibilities between head low and head high situation are attributes of this treatment table.

Also in the rescue ambulance version the optimized space offer is reflected again. In the cabinet portion at the partition medical material find sufficient storage.
